Sarah Drennan

House of Delegates

Candidacy Officially Filed

Today, accompanied by the boys and Mark, we went to the Capitol to officially file my candidacy for the House of Delegates in the 20th district. It was a truly special experience – meeting current Delegates, standing behind the podium for a photo, and engaging with House leadership.

The conversations centered around the issues facing House members and the state of West Virginia. My key takeaway is a commitment to serve with dignity and honor, voting according to my conscience and the will of my constituents. I left with a strong sense that, together, we can make a meaningful difference in Putnam County and the entire state.

A piece of advice from a current Delegate and state-wide candidate resonated with me: “Let people know who you are and why you’re running in 25 words or less.” So, here it is: Hello, I’m Sarah Drennan, running for House of Delegates 20th District. I aim to shape a West Virginia where our children choose to build their families!

I would appreciate your help and support!

WV Deputy Sheriff’s Association endorse Drennan

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that I’ve just received my first endorsement from the WV Deputy Sheriff’s Association!

I am beyond honored and grateful for the Association’s belief in my candidacy. From the very beginning, I instilled in my two boys the importance of expressing gratitude to our officers and military for their dedicated service.

It’s not just a commitment for me, but a family tradition. My brother-in-law, a veteran deputy and Captain with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department, exemplifies the values of service and protection that I hold dear.

I’m deeply moved by the support and confidence shown by the WV Deputy Sheriff’s Association. Let’s continue working together to bring positive change to our community!
